On Shinkansen Seats and Toilets
Shinkansen is probably the most convenient way of traveling medium-long distances in Japan. For trips with distances longer than long, fly. ^^.
Unlike flying, when using the bullet train, there’s no need to catch a bus/train to get into the city from the airport because one usually gets off (and on) the shinkansen at a major city station. In fact, you’ll only catch a bus/train to get out of the city!
Getting my head vacuumed
Just as the title suggests, it’s just a short clip of me getting my head vacuumed. Get it every time after a haircut. Quite a common practice in Japan and it’s pretty good for picking up bits and pieces of leftover hair. ^^.

Toyota Prius
Had a chance to drive Toyota’s Prius recently when Nippon Rent-a-Car didn’t have what I wanted. So I though, meh, why not give the “eco car” section a try. There were only 2 cars, Honda Insight and Toyota Prius. Being a frequent customer of Nippon Rent-a-Car, I had in my possession, a ¥4000 discount voucher.
What the heck, I’ll just go with the slightly more expensive Prius.
