Another day, another iekei ramen (家系ラーメン). Musashi-ya is also popular with the students here at Keio. Not only that, it is quite famous among the ramen connoisseurs too. Bottomless rice comes on the house with any bowl. Oily tonkotsu-syouyu flavored. That’s my kind of ramen. ^^.

Went over to the cafe to get some lunch. This sexy new flavor from nissin cup noodles caught my eye.
“Why not me for lunch”? She cried out. ^^

Do we even have milk seafood here in Tokyo anymore? Took this while on my last trip to Malaysia. Cup noodles for RM$6.90 a cup is pretty expensive by Malaysian standards. You can get more flavor for your buck at the hawker centers. ^^.

Ramen Don ラーメン どん. Pretty much similar to Jiro Ramen. Shoyu tonkotsu (soy sauce pork ribs broth) ramen. A bowl of this costs ¥650. Very popular with the students. Volumetrically cheap!

Tsukemen (つけ麺) has become a rather popular “alternative” to the usual ramen. The noodles and soup are served separately. You dip the noodles into the soup and then into your mouth. スープをつけて食べる。At least that’s the idea.
