I had the privilege of being invited to the New Year Party at MLB Cafe held by Good Smile Company, COSPA and BushiRoad. Three big players in the Otaku industry.
I think MLB refers to Major League Baseball. The Cafe, just a few minutes walk from Ebisu station, is located right opposite Yebisu Garden Place.
Went to the opening party for the Tokyo Figure Show which was organized by danny and Good Smile Company. It was held on the top floor of the H&M building in Harajuku. This figure’s name is Canaan, but I don’t know much about her except that she’s not aiming at me. ^^.
I’m not a big Kamen Rider (仮面ライダー) fan, only liked Kamen Rider BLACK. But I would really love my very own Kamen Rider figure. My very own Kamen Rider figure… with my own face! Made with the very latest in Japanese 3D printing technology!
This limited edition Iron Man from Kotobukiya fell into my hands recently. A very nice Fine Art Statue indeed! Wondering if there’ll be any more Iron Mans suddenly arriving at my doorstep. ^^.
Had a SAV (Suddenly Acquired Valkyrie) over the week. ^^. I really like these valkyrie fighters as well as the alpha and beta fighters from the Macross/Robotech saga. Used to drool over them when I was a kid. Alas, I did not have my own… till recently. ^^. It’s a really cool toy. A little on the difficult side to transform though. Did it once and I’m going to just leave it in fighter mode for now. ^^. You have a favorite mecha from Macross?
Took Chou’un Shiryuu (趙雲 子龍) of ikkitousen (一騎当千) fame out for a look see and some snaps. Bought her at a bargain when I visited Hobby Complex 06 in 2008. It’s been a while since I’ve actually reviewed a figure. ^^.
