Out on patrol

A Koban (交番) is a police box in Japan. It’s like your neighborhood police station but only miniaturized, very miniaturized. The officers stationed here are currently out on patrol. But one is free to use the phone inside.

I don’t think you’re allowed to make overseas calls though. ^^.

Ebisu #1 Yebisu Beer Museum

Ebisu 1

Dave was visiting and he wanted to drop by the Yebisu Beer Museum. I haven’t been there myself so we hopped on a train and rode the Hibiya line all the way to Ebisu. ^^. There’s about a 3 minute walk from the station to Yebisu Garden Place where the beer museum is located. The journey starts with getting on this particular escalator. Once you’re on it, you’re all set.

Singaporean Cuisine in Tokyo

Had dinner at Sin Tong Kee with 2 lovely girls last night. ^^. Sin Tong Kee’s a restaurant in Ebisu that serves Singaporean food. Singaporeans or Malaysians in Japan missing some local goodies can go there for a little taste of home. ^^. Man, I think I ate 3 dinners that night!
