It’s been a while since I last made a blog post. Time has been a rather scarce resource lately. ^^. I think back fondly on the time when I was still within the confines of the university walls. Those were the days. I had a lot of time and I pursued my share of interests. Grownups used to tell me to value my time as a student as I’ll miss them when I join the rat race. I now see the wisdom in that. It seems that I’ve joined their ranks. I now find myself trying to impart that bit of wisdom… How the tables have turned. ^^.

Oh. And by the way, anyone thinking of making a trip up Mt. Fuji this year?

Spent new year’s eve in Kagoshima and new year’s day waiting for the first sunrise (hatsu hi no de – 初日の出) at Yoshino Park.

Didn’t manage to get a clear photo of the sun like I did for previous new years, but I’m quite happy with this one; the sun rising just to the left of ash-spewing Sakurajima.

My ritual for this new year is complete!

Christmas came and went by pretty quickly this year. Not being a public holiday in Japan, it was good to have christmas eve and day falling on Saturday and Sunday; a christmas weekend.

This post is a little late, but I hope everyone had a good christmas and got what they needed. ^^.
