It’s actually pretty good. Even better when served with sashimi soy sauce with some garlic mixed in.

The thing on the right is actually chicken gizzard. This is not a dish easily found in Tokyo. However, it’s easily available in Kagoshima. One could easily pick it up at the supermarkets.

There’s chicken, and then there’s chicken that can be consumed as sashimi. Don’t pick the wrong one. ^^.

I visit Ichiran Ramen (一蘭ラーメン) quite often. They have branches all over Tokyo. Shibuya, Roppongi, Suidobashi etc. Been meaning to write a post about it, but just never got to it. ^^.

At every ichiran store, you eat in a cubicle. There is very little interaction with the staff. In fact, you will almost never see their faces. All you get is a form asking for your preferences when it comes to preparing your ramen.

You can choose from 5 levels of noodle stiffness, how much garlic you want added in, how spicy you like it, what toppings you want etc.

Went by the container kichen along Aoyama Dori for some karaage. If you do swing by, basil flavored and yuzu flavored karaage are pretty yummy.

I wasn’t kidding when I said container. Was impressed because the container even had a proper toilet! ^^

The grass is always greener on the other side. So are the snacks. ^^.

I don’t have much of a green thumb. The last time I tried to grow a basil plant, it died. Maybe because I kept plucking away at the leaves. Thinking of growing basil again.

But this time, I’ll think big and grow a small patch.
