Sticky Bowl

Sticky Bowl

I want me some “sticky bowl” for lunch. The menu could use a better name though. Care to help?

“ネバネバ” (ne-ba ne-ba) refers to something sticky/gooey/slimy in Japanese. For example, natto is ネバネバ, cut okra is ネバネバ. Not too sure if the bowl is ネバネバ. ^^.

夜の創想館

夜の創想館

創想館 (sousoukan) is probably the most symbolic building on Yagami Campus, home to Keio University’s Faculty of Science and Technology. The name of the building is derived from 創造 (souzou, creation) and 想像 (souzou, imagination) – A House of Creation and Imagination.

A rather befitting name don’t you think?

It’s all coming back to me now. The good ol’ days when I used to spend late nights working on my dissertation. ^^.

Enoshima Aquarium

Enoshima Aquarium

I didn’t take too many photos at the aquarium. I kinda forgot about taking photos once I was inside because I was busy trying to read up on the exhibits. It’s just like food. Sometimes you get so carried away with eating, you forget to take photos (if you ever take photos of food before you eat). Besides, it’s somewhere you want to visit firsthand, not from photos. ^^.

I did take some photos from shows. There’s the uogokoro show where a diver will introduce some fishes to the audience and the dolphin shows.

作ってあげたい彼ごはん6

作ってあげたい彼ごはん6

I love my iPhone and I also love Japan. The two have so much in common. For example, on the iPhone, “there’s an app for that”. In Japan, “there’s a mag(azine) for that”. ^^.

There’s a magazine for almost everything in Japan. From magazines that teach you how to make your own Hackintosh to magazines about onsens, about the best places to eat, gadgets, how-tos etc. Of course, only in Japanese though.

I don’t usually walk through and browse magazines for her, but I was walking through that fateful day and this caught my eye. It’s a magazine for dishes that she wants to cook for her boyfriend. 「作ってあげたい」translates to something like “I want to make for you”. 「彼ごはん」is “boyfriend food”.

Must be popular since it’s the sixth volume! 124 pages worth of recipes!

彼女:ふたりごはんって幸せ〜♥ (I’m happy to be eating with you)
彼:おいしいね♥ (It’s yummy)

You know what they say, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. But they also talk of the female doctor who made a mess during a heart operation because she started from the stomach. O_O

I’m easy to please. Fill me up and I’m happy. How about you? …or your man? ^^.
