You get used to the speed at which things are blurring by you and it has this feeling of being inside an airplane, but at the same time, not being in a plane. You know, I’ve never actually seen a skinkansen passing by. I spent a lot of time in an area of Kyoto where you couldn’t see train tracks. I was fortunate enough to ride twice on a shinkansen. It’s kind of a surreal feeling. You get used to the speed at which things are blurring by you and it has this feeling of being inside an airplane, but at the same time, not being in a plane.
