Starbucks 2010 New Year Goodies
With Christmas over and Starbucks christmas goodies no longer available, it’s time to take a look at what they have to offer this coming new year.
I wonder if the new year goodies offered this year in Japan are only limited to Japan…
I tend to drop into Starbucks quite often. Especially when I have some time to kill before my next event of the day. Usually will pull out my MacBook Pro and do some lite work. Other times like today, I pull out a magazine. Today’s magazine is last month’s IEEE Spectrum.
You must be wondering what that tea bag is doing in my paper cup. My drink today is a season special. Hojicha tea latte. Roasted green tea latte. A little on the sweet end, but does wonders warming up a cold body… my cold body. ^^.
I don’t suppose you can get this Japan 2010 tumbler anywhere outside Japan. ^^.
Starbucks’ very own Tiger Tumbler for 2010. I would have liked something orangey and black instead of pink or brown…
According to the Chinese zodiac, 2010 is the year of the Tiger. Every Tiger has an element too; 2010 is the year of the “Metal Tiger”.
The Metal element gives the Tiger its sharpness in action and speed of thought. Tigers born in the Metal year like to stand out in a crowd. With an inspiring assertiveness and competitive demeanor, they determine their goals and then do anything necessary to achieve them. This good-looking character sometimes suffers from mood swings and temper tantrums. The Tiger can be known to jump to conclusions or to act too quickly without weighing the options or understanding the consequences. This is a flaw Tigers must learn to curb.
If that sounds like you, you’ll be 60 next year. The last metal Tiger visited us way back in 1950!
