When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
When in Ginza, visit the Apple Store. ^^.
Seems like it was one of those quiet weekday afternoons. I used to visit Apple Stores pretty often to pick up new Apple products. These days, I usually just order them online and wait for the delivery man to drop it off. It’s extremely convenient when you’ve no time to make the trip or when you’re getting a 27in iMac.
For those who bought the 27in iMac, has yours arrived yet?
Apple has set up an express checkout counter just for busy last minute shoppers this holiday season.
I don’t see a queue, so service in this line must be blazing fast. ^^.

When shopping in the Apple Store in US and Canada, we usually pay anywhere in the store with the help of the friendly Apple store employee with a mobile terminal. A swipe of the credit card, give them your email address and that’s it. You just take the product out of the store. If you like, you can take a the plastic bag but most folks don’t even bother as it is a bit more environmental friendly to not take plastic bags. And the receipt will be in your inbox when you get home. I also like shopping online with Apple as their shipping time is conservatively accurate, usually arriving earlier than their estimate.

We still have yet to have those employees with a mobile terminal at our Apple stores. Probably just a matter of time. ^^. Are those terminals iPod touches?
