Beats by Dr. Dre – Tour
I have a problem. Apple standard issue earphones never fit my left ear. It slides and totally ruins the listening experience. Do you have the same problem? In the past, I used those black cushiony things that wrapped around Apple standard issue earphones. Those really helped. Alas, I ran out of those black cushiony things.
Irritated that those earphones “no longer fit”, I went in search for one that did. And my search ended with this.
Beats by Dr. Dre. Tour.
“People aren’t hearing all the music.
Artists and producers work hard in the studio perfecting their sound. But people can’t really hear it with normal headphones. Most headphones can’t handle the bass, the detail, the dynamics. Bottom line, the music doesn’t move you. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear, and listen to the music the way they should: the way I do.”
Dr. Dre.
The flat red “tangle-free” cables beckoned. And I went. Now I have a pair of in-ear earphones worthy of a Sith Lord. ^^.
Seriously, the flat red cables roped me in. I’m no audiophile, but the sound from these earphones were incredible.
It comes with multiple eartips for all of us. I settled with the triangular-shaped ones. The mushroom-shaped eartips created an uncomfortable air bubble in my ear.
The only thing I miss on these in-ear earphones, is the remote/mic on the Apple earphone. I can still converse on the phone with the earphones in my ear by speaking into the iPhone’s mic. It might look strange, but I have not been in many situations where I use the earphones as a handsfree. Most of the time I use the remote to cycle through the songs in my playlist. It’s convenient to have, but I made a compromise. Maybe now I’ll listen to my music more instead of surf through them. ^^.
Darth Vader wishes that Monster and Dr. Dre will release a pair of miniaturized Sith Lord earphones for him. The Tour doesn’t fit he says. ^^.
