Durian Hi-Chew

I never expected a Japanese durian flavored candy. Most Japanese I know cringe at the thought of the king of fruits… What about you? Me, I’m cool with thorny royalty. ^^. Paid ¥94. The flavor’s not too bad. It’s not as durian as I thought it was. A little on the weak side imo. But, nevertheless, おいしい. The chewy candy has a pretty good taste. Furthermore, there wasn’t much of an aftertaste too. I pulled rank and forced all my Japanese juniors to try it. I’m bad that way. They didn’t complain and seemed to not hate it. ^^.

If durian is the king of fruits, do you know which fruit is his queen?

    that’s equivalent to 7 times eating out! if all durians are that expensive, the flavored candies will do just fine for me ^^

    dont like fresh durian because of the stink but I like the durian candys =) got them sometimes while I stayed in the philippines ^^.
    mh the queen of the fruits!? maybe the mango? I dont know..
