Climbing Fujisan #1 Gear
Going to conquer Mt Fuji today! There’s where I want to be tomorrow morning for the sunrise! Pray with me for good weather. ^^. I went shopping with my climbing buddies last week. Want to take a look at some of the gear I bought?

It’ll be my first time and after hearing about the experiences my friends had, I wanted my climb to be as painless as possible. That meant getting all the proper gear. Bought the can of oxygen just in case I get hit by a bout of altitude sickness. Like I said, better have it and not need it than need it and not have it. ^^. Except for the shoes and the disposable poncho, everything else I got from mont bell. Shoes are GT Hawkins from ABC Mart (they had better last the whole trip and more) and poncho from Tokyu Hands. Only thing I haven’t got are gloves. Will pick up a pair on my way out. That, and lots of energy bars for late night nourishment.
Now on to packing! Camera, tripod, water, something cool, something warm, a fresh change of clothing… what else am I missing?
