The missing refrigerator door

Now that the mercury has risen and we’re nearing summer, the refrigerator doors seem to have upped and went for a holiday. No more opening doors to pick up your favorite drinks. All you have to do is to reach out and grab it! Seems like a good way to help keep the store cool too. Might even save the shop some ¥.

    Wouldn’t it cost them more? presuming the fridge uses temperature sensors to try and maintain a constant temperature, more power would be needed because of the heat from outside.

    Something doesn’t jive here. The doors should be on to conserve energy not waste it. I really don’t see how this saves money.

    lol. funny.

    one of the things i loved about japan is the vending machines practically anywhere. on the side of the road, a random vending machine, and i can enjoy my precious pocari sweat anywhere in that country. myy preeeciooous!
