Wiiの間

Finally got to trying 「Wiiの間」(Wii no ma) on my Wii. First impression is pretty good. It knows what I usually do on a Sunday afternoon right off the bat! ^^.

This is what I usually do anyway on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Now I get to watch my Mii do this in my TV too!

First off, I only took some photos. Was a little blown away by the service. An Einstein Mii came visiting and introduced Unilever’s short film “Alchemist” () for their LUX brand. It features Catherine Zeta Jones as heroine who gives every woman the chance to be beautiful by smuggling the secret shampoo elixir out of the heavily guarded secret lab somewhere in the countryside. Anyway, some screenshots of my Catherine on my TV.

Unfortunately, that’s all we get to see… ^^.

Her flashing her hair before the paparazzi.

You can check out the short film here if you have yet to see it. Pretty interesting.

After watching it, you can say if you liked it or not.

Other options let you recommend and add to your favourites. If you have a DSi, you can send the video there too! Way to go Nintendo! But… I don’t have a DSi.

Other content from Unilever.

Albert’s going home. See you again soon Einstein! There are some other content in the “game”… can I call it a game? But we’ll just leave it at Catherine Zeta Jones. ^^.

Alright, time to go out and grab some lunch before another guest comes! See you! ^^.

Here’s the Nintendo site. It’s Japanese only, but you can get a pretty good idea of what’s available just by looking at the pictures. Basically, Nintendo really wants to really integrate the Wii into your lifestyle. They will send bodacious amount of content straight to your Wii in order to keep steal more of your home time. ^^.

Here’s a recent commerical that was on TV.

The service started May 1, 2009 and it’s free. As it just started, content might be limited. But Nintendo is promising to provide more soon. This service it probably not available outside Japan yet, so if you’re not in Japan and have a Wii… pray.
