This limited edition Iron Man from Kotobukiya fell into my hands recently. A very nice Fine Art Statue indeed! Wondering if there’ll be any more Iron Mans suddenly arriving at my doorstep. ^^.
He’s cold cast and definitely not posable. Although he came in a big box, he’s not very heavy. I’m a sucker for limited edition goods. This particular statue is one out of 7000 available in the whole universe.
1:6 scale. Pretty good size to put on your desk or next to your bed as a night light. Wondering if it’s possible to add a little ambient light sensor to it. Want it to light up automatically when it gets significantly dark and turn off when I’m asleep. ^^.
I wonder how long a life those LEDs inside him lasts. Don’t think they are replaceable though. If they blow, I guess I’ll just have to stop using him as a night light. ^^.
Very sleek. What do you suppose he is thinking in that pose? “What?”
Don’t you just like his sparkling eyes? ^^.
That’s one very dark photo.
The helmet doesn’t open, but there’s a little gap under his chip.
Any Naruto fans? Iron man does Rasengan too! ^^.
My work desk at home is kinda small. One 24in iMac, one external harddisk, one keyboard, one tiny plant and that’s about all the space I have. Currently he’s right next to my bed. Will probably place him on a corner shelf in the living room later.
Do you place your figures/statues only in your space or are they scattered around your home?

$4500 USD isn’t a lot to pay if it flies. ^^
