4 rainbows in 1 day
Saw 4 rainbows today! Can you spot 2 in that picture above? Two more in the pictures below. A rainbow stops everyone in their tracks. Within seconds, mobile phones and cameras were whipped out from thin air!
Today went pretty well, submitted my first draft to my professor and he seemed pretty pleased with it. Had a long day explaining what I’ve written to him. Told me to put aside the 2nd draft and spend the next few days writing another paper for the new idea I’ve just introduced. Spent the last few nights tweaking my code and running runs and runs of simulation just because I had a minor research episode. If you’ve seen me twittering in the wee hours of the morning, you know what I’ve been up to. ^^.
Here’s another rainbow!
Anyway, weather was so so today. A little on the cool side, which is good. I didn’t sleep much last night… actually for quite a few nights now. So after the relatively good news today, I decided to head home. Alex playing Civ4 had something to do with it. Now I’m itching for a round. But we all know if I start, it’s going to end at 5am. ^^.
And another one way back! A grand total of 4! Have you seen more in a day?
So, even though I’m itching, I’m not scratching. I’ve got other things to do, like making sure my App runs in iPhone 3.0. Apple sent out a mail today telling all developers, “No 3.0, no App Store for you”. Been testing out the beta-s. My Apps aren’t very complex and they seem to run ok.
I don’t usually leave the lab at 5ish. Usually around 7 or 8. So I don’t run into ‘going home’ crowded at all. Makes me feel young when I do though. ^^.
The second busiest crossing after Shibuya’s Hachiko crossing at 6pm on a week day. ^^>
