While I work with numbers, others work with robots. I can make out 4 cameras. This robot sees more of you than your significant other! ^^. Came down for a coffee break and found this lovely creature standing in the lobby. And I did what every other hot-blooded sexy male does, I approached her.

As I got closer, she started giving directions. Things like, “you have the library on the right” etc. She will also ask you some questions.

“Do you need help?”

“Are you listening to me?”

I “talked” to her. I thought this was great! Here we have an all-seeing robot that is able to start a conversation too.

Or so I thought.

What do we have here? Students hiding out back to jump you with a questionnaire!

Turns out, she didn’t talk on her own. These guys were listening and feeding her situational sentence patterns. These guys were trying to find out how many of us would actually interact with a robot.
