They were so impacted that they were growing into my jaw. I had local anesthesia in the surgery. The surgery itself wasn't really too painful (besdies the shots to numb you up). It's after the surgery when the medication goes away that you will experience A LOT of pain and swelling in the cheeks. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. God. I've already suffered twice, and I will also suffer up to two more times! Stupid wisdom teeth! I don't think I've lost any wisdom as a result! I don't fear the dentist. We visit every 6 months, so it's become a normal practice. And no, I don't enjoy the dentist, I mean, I love the guy he's really cool but I hate him when he has work to do.
