Tokyo CGM Night

Tokyo CGM 1 002

An event for the most awesome content producers. That’s what the Tokyo CGM Night was all about. We had 2 great hosts to thank for the wonderful night in at the FIAT caffe; Danny and Andrew Shuttleworth. If you missed it, the prequel was way back in October 2008. It wasn’t called a CGM Night then. Just a Japan Blogger Dinner. We’ve come a long way. ^^. The MacBook Air mysteriously went missing when Hector left last night… hmmm…

I dropped in a little early. Came in with dshack. He goes to Waseda and I to Keio, but we got along just fine, despite the rumors ^^. Hector just loved posing by the bar.

Can you see Danny’s force chakra forming?

Drinks went for ¥500 all night.

I battled with Dan for that figure, but his experience overwhelmed me and my “paper” lost to his “scissors”… ^^.

Oh yeah, Jackie Chan was there. You can see him in some of the photos below.

From left, Jacky Chan, Kitty Vo, ken and Lester Ho. Lester’s a fellow countryman studying Japanese and aspires to get into Keio next year or so. Ganbatte!

TkyoSam giving everyone a glimpse of his “sexy hot ass” (I believe that’s how he’ll put it). Am I right Sam? ^^.

TokyoCooney talks and everyone listens… and laughs. That’s why he’s the #1 subscribed comedian on YouTube Japan.

Andrew found us a great place at the FIAT caffe in Aoyama. I didn’t realize the connection to the car till I got there! The new FIAT 500. Anyone own one? Add a green or red blazer and you’ll look just like Lupin. ^^.

I had hoped to take more photos, but I had such a good time meeting new comrades that I kinda… forgot. You know how it is, sometimes you want to take photos of food, but you only remember you want to take photos of food after you’ve taken the twentieth bite. ^^. I’ll introduce some of the people I met and their blogs in the days to come. Check back later you will!
