Another post about easy Japanese songs to entertain/impress your friends and bosses at the karaoke. There are 2 versions to this. The original “Ashita ga aru sa” (明日があるさ “There’s always tomorrow”) is a Japanese song that was performed by Japanese singer Kyu Sakamoto. The song tells the story about a boy that everyday meets a girl at a train station but he is to afraid to confess his love to her, the song is written in a comical sense. When the song was released in Japan 1963, it sold over 8 million records.

There is a modern rendition of the song by Japanese pop group Ulfuls. It’s more of a Japanese salaryman’s song. ^^. The cool thing about it is that it starts off where the original ended and ends pretty much the same way! One round trip. 2 verses are the same. Easy on the memory. Just make sure you pick the Ulfuls version at the karaoke!
I just love their MTV and the new upbeat tune. Even Papa Suzuki is in it!

haha…it’s funny song, really interesting. I prefer the modern one. Plus with their action in the video clip, with that funny expression. It’s really interesting song Ken ^^
