Fatty tuna

Yummy 中とろ (cyuutoro). Medium-grade fatty tuna. Not the fattiest portion of the tuna’s belly, but still so soft it melts in your mouth…. mmmmm… See all the white streaks of yummy goodness? ^^. This plate was going for ¥250 at the local 回転寿司 (kaiten sushi) sushi train. When was the last time you had one?

Was a little bored, so I just googled “kenleewrites”. Google suggested “kenlee writes”, so I followed Google’s suggestion. The second link (3rd down) caught my eye. FUN FACTS ABOUT KEN LEE. I like how the fun facts about me start with “Ken Lee is the single most powerful entity in known existence”. ^^.

The Storm Trooper Mobile

That’s one sweet white ride for this storm trooper. It’s amazing he can drive with the helmet on. ^^. I wore it once. Very narrow field of vision. Couldn’t see anything below my nose. Wouldn’t want to sit through 2 hours of lecture if I get caught wearing this whilst driving. ^^. Kids, do not try this at home.

A friend alerted me to this photo via this link.

Seijin Shiki 004

The first long weekend of the year in Japan (besides the New Year holidays) comes in the second week of January. The second Monday in January is a public holiday. It’s 成人の日 (seijin no hi), the coming-of-age day for Japanese youths! That’s when you say sayonara to your innocent teenage days and konnichiwa to the start of your happening adult life at 20. 成人式 (Coming-of-age ceremonies) are arranged by local prefectural governments for the young adults. If you’re 20 and live in Chiba, that means a free ticket to Disneyland! There are some perks to living in Chiba. ^^.
