sumimasen mr. k-san..im a malaysian n i dont deny about the usual scenario of malaysian toilet, and indeed im currently doing a research regarding public toilet cleanliness around KL...i myself dont expect much with the public toilet services anywhere here unless it is located at a highly reputable place (i.e the pavilion, tangs, etc.). those panelling urinal type is a common in schools and older building. but since there are concerns on 'business privacy', designers are no longer install such panelling in their buildings. and about the hose thing, it is once again a common practice of malaysian where water is much more important than toilet rolls due to religious aspect. tissues and rolls are only to ensure body parts are clean after every wash. and, u know what, anything practice here (including designs, installation of toilets fittings, etc. ) is usually regarding religious concern...

haha, this is probably one of the cleaner public toilets. I've just visited Malaysia a few times recently. A very important trick about using Malaysia public toilet is to grab some toilet paper before queuing up for toilets. Once I'm urgent and there is a damn long queue for toilet. I patiently waited for my turn. And, when I was about to enter the cubicle, I realized the supplied toilet paper is suitated outside the cubicles and far away... I left the queue to grab some toilet paper. AND, I have to queue up again. baga! maybe such situation don't happen in male toilet.

Have you seen that toilet in Bukit Bintang in front of McDonald's ? the one that its door will open automatically 1 minute after a Buzzer alarm ? :D

hey isn't it weird to take a picture in a public toilet? well unless there are nobody inside at that time.

the wall urinal is common in primary and secondary schools over here. not sure has it changed since i graduated so long ago.

i try not to do my big business outside, unless i can find a clean one. usually shopping malls, tourist attractions and some train stations are alright.

gordon´s last blog post..Assorted 501st Legion Stuff
