		<description>REALLY? 1998?? ....wow. I can&#039;t help but wonder what changed 11 years ago.

I googled &quot;pyrex cracking&quot; and found complaints dating back to 2.18.2003 at the Consumer Affairs website. After reading some of their horror stories, I definitely don&#039;t want the stuff in my kitchen any more. 

It&#039;s really kind of sad because some of my fondest memories are of my grandmother teaching me to cook with &#039;her&#039; Pyrex. She always used to tell me that there wasn&#039;t anything better because &quot;metal rust is toxic and aluminum is like throwing your money away&quot;.

Just the other day, I had gotten a Pyrex glass baking dish for making lasagna.  Shortly into the oven, it shattered into large shards instead of breaking properly like this (yours is still in one piece).  After researching it, it&#039;s apparently a common problem...</description>
