The ramen yokocho is probably a must for visitors in Sapporo (often called the city of a thousand ramen). Walking through the alley, there is nothing else except ramen. I had hoped to spend some time trying out a couple of different ramen, but time was tight and one was all I could have.
It was raining and pretty close to midnight. Probably why there wasn’t much of a queue.
How do you choose what to eat when there’s no queue to indicate if the food’s good?
I finally settled on this place (not the one with the bear). Banraiken 2nd Stage (萬来軒 二代目). There was a slight queue and it had a pretty cool name.
Yummy.
Small cosy one-manned store. Japanese efficiency at its best!
I see yummy meat….
Have I got you salivating yet?
Great ramen for a cold rainy late night! Supper anyone?
