My Christmas 2008
Well, I didn’t do anything fancy this year. No izakaya outings, no major parties… Just a quiet christmas at home, with my small tree and the presents surrounding it. No. The wii board isn’t a present.
Dinner at home on christmas eve. A strange mix, but yum yum.
In Japan, we usually have chicken for christmas. If you’re working in KFC, be prepared for a long queue. Everyone is inline to collect their chicken they pre-ordered a month ago.
No KFC for me. I made my own ginseng chicken soup for christmas. Great against colds too!
This year’s christmas card haul. Not much. Just 3. ^^. And guess what! They are all from different countries! Clockwise from left: Japan, London, Singapore. My my, I’m lucky to have friends everywhere! Thank you everyone (including my readers) for your christmas wishes!
The card from Japan is a door knob hanger. Pretty unique eh. Will find a nice door knob to hang in on. The card with the dove had nice sparkles. The purple card had a little something extra. ^^.
Some cards had private messages, so… you know, can’t show you what they say. ^^. I can show you Gordon‘s card though. That’s a nice namecard isn’t it. ^^
I also got something in the mail today too. All the way from sunny Australia, the land of hot christmases.
Now that my foofbag for my macbook has arrived, I reckon it’s about time I took it out of the box and start configuring it. Better start using it before a new version comes out and mine’s not “new” anymore. ^^.
You had a out-of-this-world christmas?
