There I was souvenir-shopping along International St. (国際道り) in Naha City, Okinawa. What did I spy as I looked down at this shelf? That’s an interesting little cardboard sign. What does it say? 沖縄限定コンドーム… Okinawa limited edition condomu?
Did I read that right? Let’s take a closer look. There it is again! 沖縄限定コンドーム, 3個セット, 1575円. Okinawa limited edition condoms, a set of 3 for ¥1575. If you’re not in the mood, a pack goes for ¥525.
I don’t think a green bitter gourd is a good representation… Do you? Especially one with a face!
