There was another fair at Yoyogi Park this weekend. 東京国際菜食文化フェア2008. Vegan Fair. I’m not a vegetarian, but I do enjoy my greens. But I was a little disappointed because there wasn’t much to eat. Nothing quite as yummy looking as what I had at the Hokkaido Fair earlier.
PETA had a stall there, but no Aya Sugimoto… ><.
There was quite crowd too.
And quite a few stalls with things to eat.
No fair is complete without the 100% Natural and Premium Quality Taybeh Beer from Palestine.
They had a wall of famous vegans. Do you recognize anyone?
Michael Jackson begin vegetarian isn’t that surprising… but Superman?
Actually, it wasn’t just the Vegetarian Fair. There was also a NPO (Non-Profit Organization) matsuri too.
I have a weak spot for dogs. Please support the Japan Rescue Dog Association.
I have a love-hate relationships with public lockers in Tokyo. Love them because they are practically everywhere. Hate them when all of them are being used. Do you have public lockers where you are?
Didn’t eat anything at the fair. I was, however, looking for to having my lunch there. Like I said, it didn’t look all that inviting.
But I didn’t leave empty handed. I left with a bottle of “Soy Mayo”. It does taste like mayonnaise, with a hint of soy, but technically it’s not mayonnaise. No eggs were harmed in the manufacturing of “Soy Mayo”. It’s thick and creamy. Quite good. 310g for ¥700 is pricy though.
Are you a vegetarian?

Public lockers only exist in certain areas like gyms or where they are needed here, not out in the open. I hardly use them. Lol @ eggs.

Not that I want to cast doubts on vegetarianism, but I wonder if the wall of famous vegetarians included a picture of Hitler…..who was a vegetarian.
