On the way to the vegan fair in Yoyogi, I stopped by the Apple store in Shibuya to check out the new MacBooks and MacBook Pro.
Final verdict – although I sympathize with the loss of FireWire and the use of TDM on the MacBook, it’s a sweet machine. The buttonless trackpad might need a little getting used to, but I find it more intelligent than I; my thumb kept pressing against the top case even though I knew there was no button. ^^. The trackpad could distinguish between my thumb and my scrolling finger. So instead of thumb on button, it’s now thumb on bottom of trackpad.
Love the new MacBooks.
