Only 2 more days!

There’s something different about this post. Instead of the usual coverage post, I’m finally writing about events that have not occured! If you are free this weekend? Feel free to drop by this event. I know there’s a Tokyo Game Show in Chiba this weekend… but there are 2 days in every weekend. This not included ^^. Although… there’s also F1 this Sunday…

Yeah, I won’t be going to the game show this year. So if you’re going, please come back and tell me all about it. ><.

Yagami Sai is certainly not as big as Mita Sai (which will be held later next month), but it’ll be just as fun. The campus is in the suburbs surrounded by houses; there’ll be more kids with parents than kids who came to pick up other kids (which is quite a popular activity at Mita Sai). ^^.

Among all the other food stalls, band performances, activities etc. that will be going on this weekend, there will be some talks. See that astronaut there? He’s a Keio OB (Old Boy, alumni). Akihiko Hoshide received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering right here at Yagami Campus. I just think he has a pretty cool name for an astronaut. Hoshide. 星出 Star Out.

There’ll be a fireworks performance on Sunday night. And we mustn’t forget the annual “Miss & Mister” Contest? Who will you vote for?

I don’t really enjoy the miss and mister contest. I find it rather biased. they are all younglings in their 3rd… maybe one or two in their 4th year. Not really representative of the student population that lives in Yagami. For once I would like to see some graduate students being nominated. ^^. The winners will be Miss and Mister Yagami… and Yagami is the Science and Technology campus. How about contestants who are more representative of that?

Clearly I haven’t been exposed to enough beauty contests. ^^. Ever been to a beauty contest?

If you do decide to drop by, here’s the Access Map. It’s a tough choice choosing between the Tokyo Game Show, F1, the last weekend of the Google dekiru event and Yagami Sai. But hey, this weekend seems to be a rather eventful one. ^^.
