Robotech Mospeada

Used to follow Robotech when I was a kid. One of my favourite mecha was this Cyclone armor. The bike’s called a Cyclone and at a push of a button it transforms and fuses to its rider, making him a super fighting machine! I got this limited black edition from wonfes. It was a real pain to transform. Practice practice practice. At the end though, the painful transformation process was worth it.

The set comes with a figure (Scot Bernard) and the Cyclone. Figure articulation is good. Easy to play with. But after transformation, it’s a little difficult to play with it… sometimes parts drop off. Not something you would want to give to your kid brother to play. ^^. Posing it is fine. However, because this guy is carrying a whole bike on his back, his center of gravity is a little off. Posing is impossible without the stand. Overall, a great mecha. A good addition to the collection.

If you’re interested in watching Robotech again, there’s this kind soul on youtube. He has all 25 episodes. Check out his profile page.

    Robotech… how nostalgic.
    It looks like a great addition but, as you mentioned…. heavy and a bit hard to transform. I’m scared that I’ll break it ^^;
