This is one of my favourite dishes. やわらかいいだこ煮。やわらかい【柔らかい】soft, いいだこ【飯蛸】baby octopus. It’s a little expensive at ¥500 for 150g, but I just love the taste! It’s not like I have it everyday. Only on special occasions, ……. like when it’s available ^^. Not sure though, but I think it’s a seasonal dish. I don’t see it everyday at the supermarket. Only once in a few months. How often do octopuses have babies all year round?

No idea, octopi should not have babies seasonally. And yes I actually remember octopi, I even checked the online dictionary to ensure I did not recall wrongly lol.
That looks delicious, I like baby octopi too. I think they have raw ones you can buy home to cook from the frozen department.
