Just some random shots I took with my R8 at Toshogu in Nikko. Forgot to consolidate photos. I guess that happens when you use 2 cameras. How many cameras do you use when on vacation? Now I usually carry 2. My trusty slr and a compact. The R8 does great marco shots! From 1cm away! Just mind-blowing!

    i only have my digital nikon p5100 with me. i’m seriously considering a s DSLR soon, maybe later this year. a canon. nice pics btw, love the rocks. ^^;

    the p5100 is a pretty good camera! The high end Nikon compact. My dslr is a Nikon D80, and I find it a very good camera. Can’t use a Canon because I’m just too used to the controls on Nikons. Plus I like the sound of Nikon’s shutter over Canon’s ^^. Which model were you planning to get? I think they just released a new entry-level model recently.
