Sakura around Chiyoda

May 2nd, 2008

We didn’t have enough time do to a proper お花見 (watching flowers, usually sakura) this year. So when Tokyo was in full bloom, I decided to take a half day off and just go out on my own to take some photos. I took the 半蔵門線 (Hanzoumon Line) and alighted at 九段下駅 (Kudanshita station). The weather was good and I started “snailing” my way to 日比谷 (Hibiya). There are quite alot of things to see along the way. Many government offices are located along that route. Not to mention the infamous Yasukuni Shrine is too. Anyway, take a look at the map. Every photo in this post was taken while I was strolling along that route. Sure… you might not see Sakura now, but it’s still a good route in downtown Tokyo. If you don’t know what to do once you hit Hibiya, you could always perform a pilgrimage to the Apple store in Ginza ^^.
