I've been told by some friends that they are experiencing some problems opening this site with IE7. IE7 opens it for some friends and for others, just tells them that "IE7 cannot open the page". I'm still pretty green in the whole web design/browser compatibility business, so I don't know what could be causing it.... although I've read that designing websites to be compatible with IE is a pain ^^. Anyway, chanced upon this CSS Selectors test-suite. Safari seems to pass everything with flying colors. Firefox on the other auto, didn't quite make it (doesn't mean I will start not liking it). The one thing I like about Firefox is Firebug. That's why I have it around in my system.

Maybe you can copy your original template into a test template, and then delete each function you have in your page until everything works correctly.
Sad though, but I think most of the users in the world use IE, simply because it comes together with Microsoft.
that's a good idea. except there's this little tiny detail that you might have forgotten... i don't have a winpc! with IE, the strange thing is that it works on some computers, and don't on others. so... i'm not sure if i want to put myself through that tedious bug hunting expedition ^^.
I think you can download IE for Mac, no ?
taken from wikipedia:
Microsoft discontinued support for the product on December 31, 2005 and removed the application from their Macintosh downloads site on January 31, 2006. Microsoft recommends "that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple's Safari."
Hm, but you can still download it from the archives.

I took the link from the wikipedia too.
nah.. not worth the effort. that version has to be at least 3 years old. i'll just poke around and find out why myself. i have a feeling it's do to with anti-virus software installed or some security setting? it opens in some computers and not in others. that's the puzzling thing.
It worked. So what was the problem ?
javascript. i used an older version and viola. it worked. i'll put up a post about it soon ^^.
