In need of an umbrella in Shibuya? Look around for stores supporting “shibukasa“. You can probably recognise them by their 3 umbrella logo. It’s a pretty neat organization. They use left behind umbrellas (if it stays in lost and found for more than 2 weeks, it’s up for grabs) and lend it out to anyone who needs it. Return it and you’ll get 50R of Earth Day Money which you’ll get to buy things with. I wonder how many people will actually remember to return it though… And will this hurt umbrella sales? ^^
